History:  I grew up in a modest home in Detroit where my loving parents taught my three siblings and me to love music and books.  We listened to the radio and checked out books from the library when money was scarce.

My commercial high school training helped me earn the money to go to Wayne, a local college for 2 years. That ended when I married my soldier fiancee. 

When I was Secretary to the insurance executive, I was asked to be editor of the in-house newspaper.  I’ve also worked for a college professor transcribing his classroom lectures.

To satisfy my love for the theater I volunteered as an usher at three different live performance theaters.

I love traveling. My husband and I traveled all over the United States and took many cruises.

My writings are memories of my life that my daughter has promised to bind into a book, so that my children and grandchildren can see what my life was like in the past.

My stories have been published in a local magazine and our Anthologies.
